24 Days in Africa, Day 24: Kigala, Rwanda
Got up and went to breakfast. A guy from Holland joined me. He was a Christian, and just spent 4 months in Tanzania doing a research project, water, for his international development degree. Talked about, well, a lot, including what it means to live a meaningful life. Went to Kigali Airport. Flew to Nairobi. Was [...]

Went to the Genocide Memorial. They had 3 exhibits: 1. Genocides in History 2. Children Killed (with names, age, likes, and how they died…I [...]
24 Days in Africa, Day 22: Kigala, Rwanda
Woke up. Late. Alarm didn’t go off. Was ‘pushed’ on the Kigali bus. Went through the border ritual, then was asked for ticket money. Staying at Scripture Union guest housing. Very nice. Walked to a pizzeria, had African tea and a pizza. Nice.

24 Days in Africa, Day 19: Mbarara, Uganda
Most of the kids left for Kabale today. 4 of the original 11 that I met my first day remain. 3 are the youngest. Woke up feeling better today. It was 10:30am. My head is no longer in a haze, though still a bit under the weather. I also feel better emotionally today. The downtime, [...]
