Started a Pastel class today

When I was young, real young, I dabbled in various arts. Finger paints, water colours, drawing, clay, etc. That’s not counting what I made out of Legos and such. At some point, I became more interested in the constructs created for me by Hasbro and others, and moved into their toys. And then there were video games and virtual worlds. Hands-on creativity took a back seat. In my teen years, I took life too seriously and ceased to value art.

In college I started moving in the other direction, but have stayed on the fringes for the most part. Started a pastels class today. It was fun, and should be the beginning of many artistic and creative pursuits. I might take a fencing class this fall, need to learn swordplay. And pottery in the spring:)
