Seth’s World View

Prophecy

I grew up in a Pentecostal house church. One aspect of that experience was prophecy. Too often, prophecy is misconstrued as telling the future, and more specifically, as either end times stuff or vanilla prophetic words. There are also so-called prophets who pride themselves on their gift while the fruit of the spirit is severly lacking in their lives. Real prophecy is speaking truth into people’s hearts and helping them imagine again, it cuts, and the speaker usually doesn’t win popularity contests, yet it comes from a heart of love. I haven’t concerned myself too much with the future telling aspect of prophecy for awhile, but it’s rather intruguing to look back at prophecies given to me in the past. It’s worth noting that these people had little or no relationship with me, were all from different places, and didn’t know each other much if at all. None of what they said seemed plausibly possible to me at the time. I present them now, with no further comment.

“Even when we’re young, and it seems like everything falls apart, and we wonder why? I thought I was doing everything to serve you Lord, and all of a sudden my world kind of collasped. No matter. I’ve got something better, sayeth God. Those around you can’t see and don’t know what you know. I’ve given you wisdom up here far greater than average, far greater than an average, way way above those of your age, and understanding, and the ability to comprehend things that are going on even now in the outside world. Insight, visual insight through the mind of the Spirit, sayeth God. And a day’s going to come when you’re going to stand up and you’re going to prophecy and you’re going to tell those around you and all at once their ears are going to have understanding. And they’re going to say, “My God, he knew all of this in advance.”
“Because I’ve foreordained a purpose for your life. You suffered, you went through, and you have overcome and surcomed those things that easily beset you. And now I’m raising you up, because I want to use you. I’m going to place a mantle on your shoulders, and you shall go forth, and wear the mantle, and never falter. Because I’m going to give you a stamina and a boldness to speak that you never dreamed would be possible.”

“Oh thou wild do mighty works unto the Lord your God, my son. Yea, I have called thee for a very special purpose. Yea, like Moses, you are going to be a mighty warrior. You’re going to stand up in the face of adversity and you’re going to face down adversaries you never dreamed possible. You’re going to go before highly and intellectual individuals and you’re going to stand up and you’re going to put them to awe. And they’re going to stand in awe and say, “My God, where did this young man get this kind of learning?” And you’re going to have that learning because you have given your heart and your life and dedication unto me, sayeth God. Yea, I’m going to use thee in the days ahead. It’s going to bring great glory to my name. Yea, continue to search my Word as you have. Continue to do all of the work and the research that you have been doing, for it is me, sayeth God, and I have provided thee the tools that will prepare you for this awesome work that you will do for the Lord your God. Yea, thou art a chosen vessel. I knew thee before I formed thee in the womb.”

Will be given a strong power of discernment
Be in the newspaper
There is a deep well within me
People will be surprised by what I speak or know
Will have a really different ministry
Devil tried to kill me many times
Analytical, pick up on things
See things other people don’t see
There’s something more spiritual for me
Be like David, a giant-killer

“Seth is the “David.” The sceptre is in his hand, and show the Lord tarry, I believe he will make his mark upon this generation.”

She annointed me with oil, and then placed a mantle on my shoulders, then said, “You’re now ready. God has prepared, pruned, and watered you. You were a tendered sapling that will grow into a strong tree. Your ministry will have a strong annointing. People will say, ‘What manner of man is this that even the winds and the sea obey him.’”
