Seth’s World View

I was back at Messiah College back then. The last few months of my Freshman year were a time of tremendous growth and passion. This is from Easter, 2005, almost 12 years ago exactly.

Lord, I love you on this Easter morning. Your gift is beyond description. The Lord works in unusual and unconventional fashion. Do not keep him in a box! Sing to Jesus! Moses said, “Who am I” that I should lear Israel? God said He’ll be with him. Jeremiah said, “I do not know how to speak; I am only a child.” God said, “I am with you.” You will go wherever I send you and say what I command.
My authority comes from GOD.
With David, do not consider appearance or height, the Lord looks at the heart. Your heart is right. You have zeal, desire, you are willing. God has chosen ME, me, the unlikely hero from nowhere.
I will give you every ability and material you need to do what I have called you to do. I have called you to this generation. I have given you the authority. You will have this as long as you rest, trust, and seek ME. If I am for you, no one will stand against you, for I am the LORD GOD OF THE UNIVERSE. You are my chosen vessel. Do not say you are not worthy. I have chosen you, making you worthy. I have put these desires in your heart and they will develop in you. You will not be able to attribute this change to anything except ME. I AM a jealous God. I will change your heart. You are MINE. AMEN!
