Seth’s World View

It’s been awhile since I’ve sat down and just wrote for pleasure. In my ‘there’s always something to do’ world, I have moved away from stillness, being, listening. In New Zealand, at world’s end, I was forced to be still. Many a time I frequented a coffee shop with a notebook in hand, ready to scribe my thoughts for the hour. I’ve lost that, and tonight rediscovered it, just as I need to find more time to ‘just be’ with my camera, and I will. For tonight, it’s time to post a series of poems penned at this table. I’m in a wonderful mood, but I’ve always been drawn to dark stories, poems, movies, etc, perhaps because they seem more real. Lastly, these poems are not finished products, just words in transition.
