Seth’s World View

There’s that part of Christianity that talks about, oh, God forgiving us for our sins, our past, and all that. And if God forgives us, we certainly should forgive ourselves for our failures. Forgiving myself and letting go of past failures is something I’ve struggled with. I find it fairly easy to forgive others, but when it’s me, I’m less graceful.

I was reminded of this last night…and forgave myself for a long list of things. It was good, felt good. And today was a good day, and I think a large part of it is that I wasn’t carrying much on my shoulders, or at least significantly less. Perhaps I shall try forgiving myself more often.
