Ran the Crossroads Half Marathon today
Ran my first running race Since January 2004 today. I strained my Achilles in New Zealand, s0 I was cautious when training. Could have trained better. It was a brisk morning in the 30s but warmed up quickly. First half felt much better than the second. I only did one long training run over 6 miles (in Vancouver, BC). Anyway, results can be seen here. Finished in 2 hours, 9 minutes, 5 seconds, so about 10 minute miles. It’s slower than my previous two, but it’s good to get back in the game.
Now I just have to recover from the pain.
