No surprise here…

You scored as Emergent/Postmodern. You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don’t think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.
What's your theological worldview? |
I actually didn’t think it was a well-written quiz. Many of my answers were in the middle because of that. While there’s a lot I agree with in the emergent church, I don’t fit very well into any paradigm. I like hymns, and actually prefer a mix of old and new while worshiping in song. I believe it’s important to connect with the past, and with the community of faith throughout history. There is room for liturgy too. The problem is when the form or structure is more important than God and people, and that can happen with traditional churches or contemporary churches. Well, that’s all I have to say for now.
