Saw Coldplay last night at the Pepsi Center in Denver. Great performance. Amazing light show. I became a fan in 2003/04 in New Zealand. One of my flatmates played the Live 2003 DVD all the time, it grew on me. Chris Martin is a very good showman. As an audience member, I felt like he appreciated us being there…mainly because he said so. He also rushed into the isle late in the concert to finish a song amongst fans, which was very cool. And for you Johnny Cash fans, they performed their dedication song to Cash, as well as Cash’s Ring of Fire! Their drummer played keyboards on a ballad, which also went well. Encore was 4 songs…that’s my kind of encore. Fiona Apple opened.
