Positioning
Just finished reading, Positioning, by Al Ries and Jack Trout. Really interesting book on marketing. Marketing doesn’t take place in a vacuum. In college, I studied many different communications theories, including general semantics, who have as one of their creeds: meanings are in people. Once people grab onto an assumption, it is usually hard to displace, especially in an overcommunicated society.
Looks like that degree in Communications was worthwhile:)
