A Climb to the Summit

I broke my LiveJournal plugin by upgrading, hopefully I just fixed it. Also managed to break my Windows installation this past week, and had to rebuild my laptop. Unfortunately, I didn’t transfer my work PST file, so all work emails, and more importantly, my task list, is gone.

July 4th weekend went up to Rawah Lakes. Was a great trip. Well, the time with friends was good. We ascended over 2000 feet to 11,700 feet across 7 miles. It was long, and painful. The plan was to fish and spend a day doing not much of anything. Didn’t happen, later the next day, after a hail storm, we descended 7 miles. It hurt…a lot. Recommendation: Don’t go up and down a mountain overnight, unless you are a glutton for punishment. Still, it was a good accomplishment, and made for a quiet July 4th as I did nothing but recover.

Work is going well. Got contracts with National Western Stock Show and AAA Colorado within a week of each other. So, my vocation is looking up:) Later….
