I need to change the time settings on this journal. It’s 12:24am in Colorado right now. The music of Natalie Merchant is spilling into my ears, splendidly. Tigerlily will go along good with the ROTK soundtrack, Hayley Westenra’s Pure and Tracy Chapman’s debut. It’s all needed to soothe my mental stream, the one that keeps on running about in no direction in particular, running dry. And the cliches continue. I’ve been to New Zealand, I’ve run a marathon…yet I still find ways to doubt, and lose reasons to try. Right now, I’m just thankful for Natalie Merchant.
