Fantasy Football, and other things

I’m in two Fantasy Football leagues this year. I’m the commissioner in one with friends from Colorado. The other is with a bunch of Fantasy Football diehards in central PA. I look forward to winning many games:)

Visited Columbus, OH last weekend. I liked it there. It’s more like a western city than most eastern cities I’ve visited…meaning it looks rather new. I could live there, I think, in The Short North.

I keep coming back to this idea. The way I’m built, I need to pursue big goals, otherwise, I’m dead already. It’s like the quote from Red in The Shawshank Redemption: “Get busy living, or get busy dying.”

I’m helping out some with a coffeehouse in Erie. Starting a coffeehouse was a dream of mine. Like many dreams, it wasn’t very feasible. Even if it’s for a short time, I’m really enjoying doing what I can to help this one out.

Been reading books by Orson Scott Card and Brian Herbert. Trying to finish up the saga or Ender and the saga of Dune. I’m getting there…
