Wonder Boys

Spent last night at Dom & Jen’s in Philly. Got to see Keelan and Zeager, which was really cool. Went to Jason’s wedding today. Didn’t know anyone there, but I consider Jason one of my best friends, and it meant something to me to be there. Spending the night at Zeager’s in Harrisburg. He told me to make myself at home, so I popped in a movie called “Wonder Boys” with Michael Douglas. The movie definitely had it’s messed up dimensions, but I like movies about writers, since I am one, and they are a strange lot. The main theme of the movie was choice. This was exemplified by Douglas’ character in that he was writing a neverending book. Why? He kept putting off choices, kept on writing, rambling. This paralleled his life. I wonder if I am just doing the same…leaving all possibilities open so I don’t miss out on anything…and never really pursuing the one or two things that make life worth living. Am I living my life, or someone’s elses?
