In Formation
Rounded edges
of worn warriors
refract
the light from above,
causing dark tints to
form on the opposite
side. Remnants of moss
collect on select ends,
adding character to the
already fashionable formations.
Gases stretch like cotton candy
above, slowly drited across,
whitening the sky. The bright
light peers through,
nodding approval
every now and then.
The wind joins
in, a gentle reminder
that heat can be
diffused, a refreshment
to the deserted soul,
aflame like the colored
stalagmites
that jut into the blue
haze.
Trees in the breeze
blow softly, unmoved
by winds force;
the lights glare on
the fiery forks in
between. Shades of
green, shading all
below, contrast in shape,
size, and colour, a
diversity of oneness.
